After having lived on the Sunshine Coast for over 20 years, Matt moved to Pelican Waters in 2002, and has been enjoying the lifestyle ever since. 

However, for a number of months each year he resides in the US.
He says that “it’s the daily life of Pelican Waters that is so unique and this always makes me happy to come home after several months away.”

In Pelican Waters his family has a business “Black Constructions” who build house and land packages as well as custom built homes. 

Matt Black’s father is responsible for building many homes on the Sunshine Coast. 
Black Construction has a 35-year history of building high quality homes that encourages clients to choose to build with them.

Matt will always have for sale a great selection of properties, but as soon as construction is complete the properties always sell, fast, sometimes before the slab is down.

Matt is a personal manager for a modern country music artist and is now working on a world tour for her.  He has been in talks to placing her music on a Hollywood blockbuster film and is planning an American tour in 2011, so watch out for
Matt Black as the future is truly bright.   
His celebrity and legend contacts in the music and entertainment industry have given him full support and encouragement.

Away from his businesses he was noted to be a president of a non - profit organization helping the local and greater community. Over the long history the organization has donated millions of dollars directly to schools, hospitals, charities, community projects and ongoing support to medical research.

Matt dedicates a lot of time helping those in need, to provide a better community for everyone.
